Thom Shepherd
Thom Shepherd’s been around the block on Music Row—and picked up a few #1s along the way, including “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Riding with Private Malone,” and “My Texas.” He’s written a bunch of radio singles, had a couple songs earn Grammy nominations, and seen over 100 of his tunes recorded by artists like Blake Shelton, George Jones, Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Easton Corbin, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, and more.
These days, he’s writing songs and creating content at 8 Track Entertainment in Nashville.
After years of life on the road, Thom and his wife, artist Coley McCabe, now call Mount Juliet, Tennessee home. He grew up in St. Louis, spent his high school years in Virginia, and made the move to Nashville in 1993 after graduating from George Mason University.

It’s like sitting in the living room with two hit songwriters who just happen to have stories behind every song. Thom and Coley keep it loose, funny, and personal—trading songs, telling the backstories, and taking requests. You’ll hear the hits, some deep cuts, and brand new songs, all stripped down to acoustic guitars and harmonies. It’s interactive, a little bit of a songwriter round, a little bit of a front-porch hang, and by the end of the night it feels more like you made new friends than attended a show.

The songs hit bigger, the grooves are tighter, and the crowd becomes part of the show—singing along, clapping, and feeding off the band’s momentum. You still get the stories and personality, but now it’s paired with a polished, high-impact sound that feels part Nashville concert, part beach-party, part Texas dancehall. It’s fun, engaging, and built to keep a room smiling from the first note to the encore.
